SEA PRELUDE / COMPOSITION FOR SOLO GUITAR – FREE DOWNLOAD

Recently we had a wonderful vacation on the Slovenian coast with an incredible ocean view from our hotel room. The foggy, rainy and sometimes stormy weather we had is a great inspiration for me…I just like the mood it creates.
I composed a little piece called SEA PRELUDE, just to catch the feeling I had while looking out into this incredible space for hours.

A STUDENT ARRANGEMENT FOR GUITAR TRIO ONLINE / HEDWIG’S THEME

I arranged the two main themes of this amazing John Williams composition in a way that the guitars act equally, should mean parts of the main melody in higher ranges is divided between the guitars, so that the difficulty level is the same for all three of them.
I did this arrangement after a request of a students guitar trio I teach and coach weekly. All three of them play on the same level.

FIRST VIDEO OF THE NEW YEAR ONLINE !!

On the morning of the new year I did what I do all the time at home, play guitar…and a new tune came out very fast. I was inspired
by the foggy morning outside the window and I call it FOGGY NEW YEAR.

NEW CHRISTMAS VIDEO & FREE SHEET MUSIC ONLINE !!

I made an arrangement of a beautiful Xmas tune called ADVENT form the Austrian composer Franz Moser. I did this from a 4-part choir arrangement into a solo guitar piece with some variations. Free Sheet Music PDF

A new composition is online. It´s a piece for solo guitar with the title CHORAL FOR A GROWING FLOWER.
There are three PDF for FREE download on my BLOG. The first one is a digital sheet music edition, the second a scan of my handwritten score and a third one with some analysis and personal thoughts on the composition.

Recording of 14 Guitar Instrumentals this Summer…

I was very busy in August recording my solo album with 14 guitar instrumentals. I recorded the whole MAGIC LANTERN collection and a new Suite with the Title PERSONAL RAINBOW,
which will also hopefully be available as sheetmusic this autumn. The album will have the title “CATS & DRAGONS”. I recorded the music all by myself at the awesome TRACKLINKING STUDIOS and did the digital editing. The Tracks are now delivered back to the Studio for mastering. I will post a blog entry about the process of the whole thing in the near future.
